I’ve been lying to myself for the last 35 years. I’ve always believed I could build the kind of business that would allow me to live a fantastic life, and I thought I had fulfilled that dream since I became a business coach teaching EOS®.
And for the most part, I have reached that dream. I’m doing great professionally, personally, financially, socially, and spiritually. But there’s always room for improvement, so I recently hired a coach to take me to the next level. In one of our very first sessions, I confessed that there’s one area in life where I’m not satisfied: my physical condition.
I’m very busy and I’ve been doing my best to stay active, but I had basically resigned myself to the “fact” that I would always be heavier than I wanted to be. After all, I had to accept that I’m almost 60, and gaining weight as you age is natural.
Thankfully, my coach, Marc Corsini, is very skilled at recognizing such thoughts for the lies they are and helping people see beyond them to the truth about what’s possible. Marc showed me that I had developed a mental road block regarding my physical health and recommended a book that literally changed my life immediately.
The book is Younger Next Year, and I was hooked from the beginning. After only three chapters, I had experienced a complete mental turnaround. I have a whole new understanding of how nutrition and exercise affect the way your body works and new strategies on how use them to bring about the transformation I want to see. I am cycling again, my energy levels are rising, and I actually am feeling younger already!
Written by Chris Crowley and Henry S. Lodge, M.D., Younger Next Year is a family of books for people entering the “next third of their lives” (ages 50 – 70). Dr. Lodge is an Internist who explains the biology behind counteracting the effects of aging in a way that’s compelling and undeniable, while Crowley is a 70-year-old, loveable wise-guy who cracks jokes and tells us what we need to hear.
This book is life-changing and funny to boot, and I love it so much I will buy a copy for any client or close friend who wants one. That’s how much it has impacted me.
To get your copy, email me or fill out this contact form and tell me whether you want the paperback, the Kindle, or the Audible version. If you like audiobooks at all, I suggest you get the Audible version; Crowley is very candid, and his sections are especially lively.
I earn my living teaching entrepreneurs how to use proven systems and processes to transform their business. I’m profoundly grateful to have found a proven system that completes the picture for me. Younger Next Year has the power to transform your thinking, your body, and your social life. Put the two systems together and living becomes an even greater adventure!
Do it! Be Younger Next Year.
